Strange Thai billboards. With the Asian economic downturn the government is encouraging Thais to 'tighten the belt and buy Thai'.

Shown are two clown like characters (gods) from the Ramayana. The character on the left is saying: 'Tang, please show me how to wear the belt!' (To 'wear the belt' is a Thai idiom meaning to save or economise.)
Tang replies: 'Ok., you have to do this: Thais help Thais, eat Thai foods, buy Thai goods, travel in Thailand and come together to save.'

Until I managed to get this translated I thought it was a billboard about AIDS. I figured the guy on the left was about to go down to the local brothel.... hmmm, you gotta be careful.
